These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and LabLens Interpreter. By creating an account or using the service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms.

LabLens Interpreter is an educational web application that allows users to:

• Enter or upload laboratory test results
• Receive plain-language explanations of those results
• Track health metrics over time
• Manage health profiles for family members
• Log symptoms and energy levels in a personal journal

This section is critically important. By using LabLens Interpreter, you acknowledge and agree that:

• The service provides educational information only — not medical advice
• Explanations are not a substitute for professional medical consultation
• You should always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making any health decisions
• Reference ranges shown are general guidelines — your doctor may use different ranges based on your specific circumstances
• LabLens Interpreter is not responsible for any health decisions you make based on information from this service
• If you have a medical emergency, call 112 immediately
• Critical value alerts are informational only and do not replace professional medical assessment

To use LabLens Interpreter, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
• Not be prohibited from using the service under applicable law

If you are using the service on behalf of a minor family member (via the Family Profiles feature), you confirm that you are the parent or legal guardian of that minor and accept responsibility for their data.

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised access
• Providing accurate information when creating your account

You may delete your account at any time. Upon deletion, all your personal data will be permanently removed from our systems within 30 days.

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the service
• Share your account with others
• Use the service to store data belonging to others without their consent
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or copy the service
• Use the service in a way that could harm other users
• Submit false or fabricated lab results to manipulate outputs

All content, design, code, and materials within LabLens Interpreter are owned by or licensed to LabLens Interpreter and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of the health data you enter into the service. By using the service, you grant us a limited licence to process your data solely to provide the service to you.

The services provided to you are for your personal educational use only and may not be republished or sold.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• LabLens Interpreter is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
• We are not liable for any health decisions made based on information from this service
• We are not liable for service interruptions or data loss
• Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may terminate your account at any time from the Settings page.

Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. Provisions of these terms that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with national laws of and applicable European Union law, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the local courts, unless EU consumer protection law provides otherwise.

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email and by updating the date at the top of this page.

Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
